After-sales agents and CRM ticket integration
Design assistance for document lookup, ticket routing and reply drafting. Keep business decisions with people and make system writes authorized and auditable.

Define operational boundaries
Begin with lower-risk tasks such as tagging tickets, retrieving documents and drafting replies. Refunds, contract interpretation, warranty decisions and device control require business rules and human approval.
Review four integration requirements
Prepare a test environment and sanitized tickets. Confirm customer identity, ticket reads and writes, attachment access and status callbacks. If a CRM has no supported API, evaluate an alternative workflow first.
- Grant minimum task permissions and separate reads from writes.
- Duplicate callbacks and retries must not duplicate tickets.
- Keep the original ticket accessible and offer a human handoff on failure.
Evaluate representative work
Use authorized historical samples and have staff review labels and draft replies. Track error categories, editing effort, task duration and successful system writes, including difficult cases.
Questions before you start
Will the agent automatically reply to customers?
Start with drafts reviewed by support staff. Automated sending should depend on operational risk, evaluation results and explicit authorization.
How is customer information handled?
Define minimum data fields, access roles, log retention and model routing. Sanitize samples and manage test and production data separately.
NEXT / YOUR PROJECT
Turn a task into a clear project brief.
Start with a remote requirements review. Site visits, embedded engineering, equipment demonstrations, training and support depend on location, staffing and resources and must be confirmed in the written scope.
