CHINZY / ENGINEERING & DELIVERY

FDE services for enterprise AI delivery

Assess agents, knowledge retrieval and system integration around one real business workflow. Define requirements, a prototype, deployment and acceptance before committing to a rollout.

PROJECT FIT

For businesses with existing systems and a defined task that needs AI integrated into daily work.

01

What FDE means

FDE means Forward Deployed Engineer: an engineer working closely with business operations. The focus is workflow discovery, implementation, integration and iteration, beyond access to a model or general training.

02

Begin with one verifiable task

Start by evaluating document retrieval, support assistance, ticket classification or business summaries. Keep human approval for payments, data deletion and external commitments.

  • Knowledge: define document sources, access rights and citation requirements.
  • Agents: define inputs, tools, approvals and failure handling.
  • Integration: confirm APIs, authentication, rate limits and a test environment.
03

Specify the deliverables

Agree on a workflow map, evaluation samples, application and interfaces, deployment instructions, an operations guide and an acceptance report. List source-code delivery, model resources, third-party fees and ongoing support separately.

04

What determines cost and schedule

Cost depends on interface count, document quality, permission complexity, deployment constraints and on-site work. Scope a pilot and acceptance criteria before expansion; a delivery date requires a requirements review.

Questions before you start

How does FDE differ from software outsourcing?

FDE emphasizes validating workflows and outcomes with business users. It is useful when frequent operational feedback matters; stable requirements may suit conventional project delivery.

Can a project use private deployment or on-site engineering?

Start with a remote requirements review. Site visits, embedded engineering, equipment demonstrations, training and support depend on location, staffing and resources and must be confirmed in the written scope.
